IDC Develop acquired this retail and residential property located in Beckenham, Kent just a short walk from Kent House and Beckenham Junction mainline train stations, and Cator Park.
The existing property consisted of a ground floor retail unit with residential upper floors Use. Working closely with the London Borough of Bromley and all local stakeholders we negotiated a planning consent for the redevelopment of the whole property.
Planning permission was granted for the existing building and the erection of a new contemporary four storey building to the front of the site linked to a two storey building to the rear designed by Iconic Architecture, comprising ground floor retail space fronting Beckenham Road, and five residential units, communal and landscaped private amenity space and two car parking spaces to the rear.
IDC Develop subsequently sold the property with the benefit of the planning consent, to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.
